The Champagne® Mango Swizzle
- 1 [email protected] Mango (peeled, seeded and sliced )
- 1 1/2oz tequila (I prefer Milagro Silver®)
- 3/4oz Cocchi Americano (or Vermouth )
- 1/2oz lime juice
- 1/2oz agave nectar
- 1 ginger slice
- 1 cucumber slice
- 2 dashes Fee Brothers® lemon cocktail bitters
|Step 1||Combine the tequila, Cocchi, lime juice, agave nectar, mango (reserve one slice for garnish), ginger and lemon bitters in a tall glass, reserving one slice of mango for garnish. .|
|Step 2||Muddle for about twenty seconds, then shake hard for another twenty seconds. Next, double strain the mix into a high ball glass, top with fresh soda water and stir. Garnish with one mango and one cucumber slice. |
Note: Muddling is a technique used by mixologists to "mash" fruit and herbs when preparing cocktails. This is done with a long, bat-shaped tool called a muddler, which is widely available online.
